@ Wendz Sorry if you are offended by my statement, but dont be too emotional about it. It is a true story yes, Journalists did a good job, yes. However "they reported what they could get" (According to the Sitting A. Minister of Incharge of National Security) You can analyse OJODE's statement to the NATIONAL ASSEMBLEY and relate to what i was trying to imply. http://www.nation.co.ke/...0/-/npim13/-/index.html

Moha & Onsarigo are still in the country,although onsarigo said in his last tweet that he was heading to somalia..I think he is covering the Linda inchi operation story...a friend of mine also told me he usually sees Moha in a local mosque. check out a tweet onsarigo tweeted on monday when pple started saying they were out of the country Quote: @Donsarigo Haha! In my opinion I think the story's input was mainly by the police themselves some of the details can only be accessed by a police man....then even those who were mentioned were so insignificant in the police force today, most of them retired or on posts that have no power. Look at how Iteere story was never exhausted or the PCIO,PPO were never revealed.out of 70 police officer only 8 were mentioned. Am not in any way condoning druglords, neither am i saying that the police do their job deligently. But learn NOT to get too much emotional when it comes to matters "Govt".
Dennis and Mohammed are just doing their Jobs. Preparing a nice sellable story. My bet is that thats just that. A story. Nothing will change unless the "system changes".
Accept it and move on to better your life, the best way you know how.
A friend of mine tells me the same. That the system of govt all over the world is corrupt. If you fish enough, you will get stressed up by the amount of chafu you will encounter! Then why was i disturbed last night by the class seven boy in Mombasa's comment.His words kept on replaying in my sleep ...Mungu awaone ,Mungu Awaone!!!! Lemme tell you ladies and gentlem.We might not find Justice in our systems but we shall surely find one from above because our God is a God of Justice,no more no less.Think of a Kiswahili saying that goes Maskini Wa Mungu.....God is their Advocate.

That wouldn't be a very smart move. The drug barons would easily finish him off there and blame it on Al Shabaab. He can even be "kidnapped" first to make the whole thing look authentic. Having said that, I don't think they would go for Onsarigo first. Everyone knows the brains behind this stories is Moha. Onsarigo and Namu before him, basically do the English version but I believe the investigative journalist here is Moha!!! Moha is more at risk. Onsarigo is at risk also because of what he knows and the fact he was present when the witnesses narrated their stories but the main target still remains as Moha!!! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Its not easy to trigger emotions from me.... and am usually pretty objective so do not apologise. I only responded to what you said that it was a story. Just a story.... what i intended to bring out was that if it is true that it is just a story to sell, then it really made such a good story... however, behind this particular story, there seems to be alot of truth in it.... I always wonder how poorly trained our police force is that they cant investigate the least of the cases but this story is an eye opener.... could be that the diligent ones are being stopped in their tracks by their own..... just thinking.

I agree with @Wendz and disagree with everyone else who says we should just keep quiet and move on. Governments world over have been brought down by people's power - unarmed citizens tired with the status quo who put their foot down and say enough is enough. If everyone in Kenya had kept quiet as some are advocating, Moi could still be in power, Biwott could probably be the minister in charge of internal security, Kamlesh might have made it to minister of finance (after being appointed as an MP) etc. etc. People talked, marched, shouted etc. Some were killed, detained, maimed etc. but we got where we are. If people got to the streets to protest against protection of drug cartels by the government, use of state machinery to eliminate those who are against the trade etc, western media would jump on the story like nobody's business. If this was accompanied by investigative pieces like the one done by Moha and crew, then heads would start to roll. Western governments would start asking questions, assets/bank accounts of some high and mighty would be frozen, travel bans would be imposed etc. Politicians/leaders being who they are would drop the drug barons like hot potatoes and even sacrifice some of them to get back into good books or to simply get back access to their ill gotten wealth. It would not take a day, a month or even an year but believe you me, this is how it would play out. More or less. Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
