Head and Breakfast in Naivasha

Good people,
My friends and I wish to make a weekend visit to Naivasha town.Boys outing.

We are looking for a reasonable accomodation place, say K.shs.1,000. Accomodation mainly for clothes storage and shower.Any recomendations.

Secondly, any interesting drink and eating joints; Choma joints? Somebody suggested, we could drive to Kikopaye for the meat and then back to town. Is this reasonable?

Apologies; have nevr been to Naivasha town, just pass through.

Alternative suggestions also welcome. Thanks.

I'm assuming you mean bed and breakfast, but if head, Naivasha is also known as Happy Valley, so you shoudn't have a problem.
Do you intend to stay in town or by the lake? I would recommend by the lake - there are several places, Fisherman's Camp comes to mind. Sleeping in a tent is exhilarating, an odd hippo might wander from the lake and trample on the tent smile Last time I slept there it was freezing cold and I could have used a head to pep me up smile smile

@sparkly, thank, and I actualy mean head and breakfast. Boys out; alot of swallowship, with minimum sleep.Bead may be for only 40 winks. 'Red Light District'? Hmmmm, not a bad idea. Details please.

@Gordon, thank. 'Happy Valley'? Details please. Fishermans Camp sounds good. Do there allow 'external blankets' to cushion the cold. What are the charges like; you know accomodation, drinks? Looking at any economy package.
