I can see NSE index has breached 50 day SMA on vapour volume. Wow! Indeed the foreign buys want to push this string come what may! $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

hisah wrote:Ugly bounces i.e. with weak support (volume) - kcb, bbk, arm. I like coop & mpesa. No excitement from this bounce. Agri stocks, Mr market continues to favour them. Since NSE has decided to join in the euphoria global stocks rally, the bounce target level is 3500 - 3700. Why I call it a bounce is coz this is hopium based. Fundamentally nothing has changed in KE. Why hasn't nssf injected its massive funds... Look at NSE's volume trend... I can also see the latest TBill 91 day result shows undersubscribed @15%. A rate spike is coming & 18% maybe surpassed Money market needs to cool off & that rate goes down below 10% to force funds back to NSE. A nasty surprise for the NSE bounce would be if MPC on Tuesday hikes the CBR again.Globally, euroland has complicated the math badly by hiding the can instead of kicking it down the road where we can all see - meaning PIIGS could all crash at the same time one day instead of just Greece! The current global stocks kneejerk rallies reminds me of Nov 2008... By Feb 2009, it was a complete carnage... Caution. Sigh... No comment.$15/barrel oil... I'm just wondering if the old prof is trying to mimic Paul Volcker's inflation busting moves of the 80's as the US economy felt the oil shocks of the late 70's. Quote:Twenty-five years ago, on October 6, 1979, the Federal Reserve adopted new policy procedures that led to skyrocketing interest rates and two back-to-back recessions but that also broke the back of inflation and ushered in the environment of low inflation and general economic stability the United States has enjoyed for nearly two decades. http://www.themoneyillusion.com/?p=11083$15/barrel oil... AK - still trying to find landing ground. Same as KCB, NBK, KQ and Total - capitulation has squeezed hard on these stocks.
CFCI - Will soon break below 8.80 then back to 6/-
SCBK - Mr Market wants to test the rights price.
Eqty - The bounce continues, but 20 still remains a tough barrier.
Scangroup too looks set to print new 2011 lows heading towards 30. The above was stated on Oct 19th. Mpesa is shivering and back again at 2.90 just before H1 2011 results. Let's see if Mr Market will break the floor as likely expected.
Eqty - finding resistance @20 as per bounce target.
AK, KCB and NBK have rallied from excessive selling level, but still bearish on the bounce. Same to scangroup.
I've noticed something on sasini - very interesting volume. Let's see if it will fly past 15 resistance to test 16.50.

@hisah. Spot on about saf testing 2.90. The demand has been coming in whenever it reaches that level. Heavy volumes whenever this happens. Who do you think is responsible for this, coz its clearly a strategy. The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

Btw, i'm not saying 8 bob is impossible just that it's an unsustainable price. Surely what will we be doing with a Safcom with a mkt cap. of 320B? Unless I get a super discount on buying, I will have to leave it to you.

Wacha utani boss. Kenya's telecom mkt is too fluid for the market to be overly bullish on Safcom in the foreseeable future. Maybe Vision 2015.
