Think about farming guys or at least owning a shamba not far away from Nairobi. 5 to 10 years from now, food will be an issue, I can bet farmers will be making a kill. With population increase and reduction in arable land, food will be be scarce and prices will go up. Nobody will be willing to sell his shamba then.

Nanyuki: very secure (military town), loved by junguz, lies on an int'l trank road to Ethiopia (class A rd), highly cosmopolitan, lies squarely on the equator, on the confluence of 3 countys, relatively underdeveloped, mwisho wa reli, agricultural/tourist town, at the foot of Mt Kenya. Great potential I guess.

If you are thinking western Kenya, Uasin Gishu County, good for agriculture and other developments especially along the long haul corridor to the land locked countries. Busia County as well for the same reason. However, these areas have their own risks like any other County – doing business in a foreign location.

Foreign?
Meaning:
1. You're not from those parts?
2. You're not Kenyan?

This is so true, even today it's very viable.
Wish I had the resources. Working on them though.

Was assessing my rural Gatanga, 20km NW of Thika. An acre goes for at least 1m! Cheapest. Some quote as high as 3m! Tumzee tunajidai ati ni metropolitan lol! Wish I were wiser. Plots aside, shambas will soon be unaffordable to a vast majority. Soon!
