we are in a bear market. Those are just kicks of a dying horse. The market is just retracing in readiness for another down swing but this time to find a bottom and a real bull will then come

PLEASE!! dont always be behind the curve..

You are a classic example of investors who realize we are in a bull only when we have peaked..

My friend whether we like it or not the recovery has began and I hope for your sake that you are well positioned to ride the bull..

Nothing has changed yet. If anything, things have gone worse. Inflation, al-shabaab, Q3 results have slowed down compared to Q1 and Q2. So, what makes u guys doubt of hitting another bottom if not equal the one already in place

The only reason why our market fell just like every other world and african market was the exit of foreigners..

Foreigners left not because of alshabaab and not inflation.. it was simply because of the european crisis.. As of yesterday foreigners are jumping with joy and are on their way back to all emerging and frontier markets with full force and cash in hand..

Q3 results have been stellar given the pessimism that was rife before they were released..
Q4 will be even sweeter as most of the problemz are being eliminated..

The bulls are in town.. I only options are to Either ride them or get out of their way...

Not a bull. Inflation at almost 19% & though with a deal, the Euro zone still has an unanswered ESFS funding riddle of around $800 B that no country is talking about but the market is asking & do you think the banks will truly take that 50% haircut on the Greek debt without a trade off? Auto search for a bottom & if our securities market is truly 'efficient', then we are yet to see a bottom.

I see it as a recovery also. I wouldn't say this is 'the big one' if you will

Its a recovery, a major one. When the market went into bear mode, we thought it was either, inflation, ocampo hearing, elections next year, or the european crisis. Or a combination of the above. The key factor we suspected was the european crisis. We have been vindicated. No sooner was the deal struck, and the n.s.e has gain like 3%. The only thing preventing the full bull is maybe the looming elections next year, this however will not prevent some thorough gains.
