I'm toying with the idea of submitting a business idea to the Jitihada II competition, which focuses on the manufacturing sector.

Does anyone have background on dehydrating mangoes? There was a Business Daily article some months back on making mango chips/crisps, and how these could be a good snack for health conscious people. Is there any wazuan involved in this?

@ Dead, this way of making mangoes into snacks/confectioneries is popular at the Coast among the Arab/swahili communities.
Depending on how serious you are, I can look for the contacts of man who packs and sells in Watamu.

i have tasted some dried mango and they were quite tasty except for a tad bit too much sugar used as coating.

If my memory serves me right, I bought them in Uchumi in Nairobi once, but I have not found them stocked anywhere else since, even in Uchumi.
