Huge demand during news events means the opposite applies when the euphoria dies. Selling into the market by smart money. @qw u know what happens in forex... By Dec 2011 we'll see if KCB will be @20 or at 12. My bet is 12. Equity too is following the same script after news event...

Soo true. The lion has actually surpassed my expectations and member now finds itself in the unfamiliar territory of having to play catch up!

Liquidity @ 28.7% from the precarious 20.7% at half year. The surprise is forex trading income ,up only 1%,Equity almost tripled theirs.
It would appear the banks have weathered the shocks in the economy quite well.

Yes. Will KCB now be expunged from the list of so called Shilling manipulators?

A robust performance from the lion. Even if as hisah projects the price were to fall to 12 towards the close of the year, I would lose no sleep over my holding. It is more than good value at the current price!

The profit growth is almost identical to Equity's. Both PAT and PBT separated by just 0.8%, with KCB taking the lead.

Seems like the Full Year figures will be a photo finish

Please note that Equity is still enjoying the preferential 20% corporate tax c/o listing which should end this year while KCB has been paying 30%.
