With Equity having delivered a 39% rise in Profit Before Tax to 9 Billion, what are the estimates for KCB?
How has its huge bet in real estate fared?
The share is the 4th biggest loser since June 30th, having gone down 38%
Of importance will be noting if liquidity has improved
At half year, we were expecting The Lion to significantly ramp up its FOREX income, and they only managed a 9% gain. Anything similar will be really surprising

@youcant. CDE will forever be indebted to you for creating this thread. Even though its posed as a challenge to the old rivalry to the crown, of the new most profitable bank. drum roll...................

Last time there was a KCB thread you 2 claimed it was infiltrated and went off and started a separate threadLaughing out loudly
No chance of that happening as the bear has made a sizeable number of Wazuans scamper

Equity Bank was a NET lender when interbank rates hit 30% while I understand KCB was a net borrower based on the 20.7% liquidity ratio as of 30 June 2011.

So can KCB match Equity Bank growth in profits? I doubt...
