Security agencies should stop giving stupid advisories as to places to avoid - and our clueless media is trumpeting these so-called advisories without thinking. From the list given, Kenyans are supposed to simply stay at home - creating further despondency. What the security forces need to do is enhance security with the assistance of wanainchi because life must go on. Instead of these advisories they should be advising wanainchi as to what to watch out for, where to report suspicious acts or persons etc

If I got it right, they said high alert while at the said locations, not avoiding. For security agencies to give such warning, it means they have some intelligence they acting on. In other words they are saying avoid such locations if you have no biz of being there, and report any suspicious characters.
Doors of opportunity don't just open , they have to be unlocked & it's up to you to turn the knob.

It's easy for me to cancel my ticket to come to Kenya this holiday season, but am not gonna do that. Mimi nakuja, I love Kenya soooooo much. Here is how I'll try to keep myself alive.

I will enter a club if they are patting down everyone.
I will spend most of my time in shags.
If I see a Walalo, natoka mbio.

More Tips.

Keep an eye for sweaty twitchy people with backpacks and anyone else acting suspiciously especially if you are near to a high risk area.
