Poor KCB and what if the Banking(Amendment)bill, 2011 passes through parliament.

"The Bill proposes to insert new sections 16B and 16C in the Banking Act. The proposed new section 16B prohibits banks and financial institutions from charging interest at a rate exceeding four percent of the rate set by the Monetary Policy Committee.
The proposed new section 16C requires banks and financial institutions to pay interest on deposits at a rate of at least seventy percent of the base rate set by the Monetary Policy Committee."

As a part of the market and its participants keep denying the FACT that KCB Group has emerged as ahead of the curve of trading in the whole EAC, as others are still considering it...we'll be enjoying 2 bob+ dividends as others embark on capital/expansion costs. ROAR!!

Mtajiju is kinda like u'll surprise yourself or regret something. OMO=Open Market Operations...action used by central banks to mop up or splurge liquidity in the mkt. Thus, in this thread the OMO will be me mopping up my liquidity by buying KCB. *si power foam* Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

People keep saying. Ati "when it reaches x price i will buy"

You will never buy, you'll keep waiting for x lower price.
