What surprised me about the two, was the calm with which they took their sentence. Normally you'd expect tears or some tense moments, these boys seemed jovial greeting relatives. I s there something they know we don't?

Pole sana @ Marty.

The thing with death sentences is an execution order will (probably) never be issued so the 'best' that can come out of this is that the two spend the rest of their lives in prison. The tricky thing is that the presi can issue pardons some years down the line......

After reading the story with more details am tempted to say that its very probable for anyone to be either of the two ie Chepkonga or Muiruri. Sad indeed. Harsh lesson, walk away from brawls especially in pubs or such social settings.

I'm no expert but i neednt be to see the lies in defence's line of argument. If muiruri did resist arrest and tried to grab the gun, pray tell me how the gun fired through the mouth then the head. I'd expect that when i try to grab a gun, which i believe was in its holster, it'd fire downwards or get either of the two in the lower part of the body, eg legs, etc. Bt mouth, head? No way, it was a gun at work. As for their being 'relaxed', i believe its got to do with fate, knowing that what come may, fighting or crying will not change your destiny. And who is this chepkonga guy? He looks rich.

.....ali I agree the defence can be having holes in their argument and what they did totally unacceptable, but here is a case of two groups of people obviously very drunk....one side had a gun at their disposal!!!!!!
