You must be doing your own auctions in Namibia.

The auction date for 182 day is today and the results come out tomorrow. Where are you getting your info Mr. Media man?

Secondly using our bell weather stock theory.Safaricom ( our bell weather stock) which is a good indicator of where the market is going created an floor ( that is traded huge volume at a stable price) awhile ago and rallied alittle bit signaling it has found a bottom and prices can only look up.
Thirdly volume spikes we have seen of late on blue chips indicated investors are busy scouping up cheap stocks and it would be wise to enter with this high volume ...
I have also but my money where my mouth is and dipped into the market big time.Taking up Equity , Co-op , Safcom etc etc etc

When the defence stocks collapse eg eabl, nmg, bat, scb, bamburi, then you known that the bull is around the corner. But the window to get in is very small so you better keep your money ready.

We could as easily have violent elections, a prolonged European debt crisis and more bad news in the U.S.

Window dressing...is when a portfolio or unit manager places bids on the board but at a lower price hoping to influence demand/supply dynamics so that he/she can sell at a high price.

I have been watching these key leading indicators to guess when it bottoms out:
* Increased foreign demand
* Up-movement in foreign favourites and highly liquid counters (Saf, EABL, BAT, Kengen, KPLC etc)
* Shilling Forex gains
* Stock index gains in other emerging markets

None of them happening, so the market has not bottomed out.
