Kenyan auditors do a shoddy job.How can unexplained billions just go through the books of a publicly listed company like that without a qualification?
How do they take in money that goes to bribery and corruption in public companies Shame on you Shame on you
Can shareholders sue the auditors for negligency ? some food for thought during the next Agm (dont just be blinded with those umbrellas and caps .)

The great thing is that on NTV last nite, the reporter confirmed the NLM story point by point.
• Green Energy Group was formed in 2008 and has little experience in these sort of projects
• After getting the 1st bit of business in supplying a miniature geothermal power generator (it sent a propoasal to KenGen, which KenGen accepted), it outsourced the same to Hinduja (Kamani) connection.
• In keeping with the Mahindra-quality, the mini-plant provided has not worked despite Hindujan sending some chutes to re-install it. Eddie, said they had now ordered another generator.
• In the meantime, Green Energy has been given a bigger Ksh9bn contract to provide bigger geothermal generators. Again with no bidding.
None of the above was disputed by Eddie or Titus Mbathi

KENGEN needs a new CEO.There has been zero growth with Eddy Njoroge at the helm.He has been CEO since 2003 and nothing to show off

I guess political cycles in Kenya should have been 8 years long (2x4yrs) so that we reduce the total eating time.

When will our time to eat come?

And who has the eating timetable anyway?

Quoted from the report:

The private joke within KenGen is that whenever the machine is turned on, engineers run for cover to study how it is performing from a safe distance.

When the machines are switched on, the vibrations of the turbines shake the whole area very much like an earth tremor.
