Been keenly following this case thru the media. I'm satisfied with the ruling. In the event they appeal, i hope for stiffer judgement. Bt, the white guy wasnt a cop, why would he be hanged? Its the x-cop guy who should. Who knows why the white kaleo was in the doc with the UON graduate cop?

The Kaleo guy is the one whom the late Dr had a fight with. He called his cop friend (Munene) who came and they had more fight. Then when the late doc left the club, they followed him and blocked their car and munene shot him. So it is presumed that they committed the murder together.

When will Wambui, Kimeu, and Owiti get justice for their kin slain under similar circumstances? They have not a chance of being 'ex-MPigs'. RIP daktari

They do get justice only that their cases do not attract as much attention.

I'm afraid munene was more of a thug when he did the crime. My heart goes to muiruri and wife who had to bear the pain of burying their son coz of some two guys who decided to misuse the weapon entrusted to one of them. And may justice be our shield and defender. All, the haves and haves not.

We need justice for all. Some are voiceless and don't even have the resources to pursue justice. We appreciate we are seemigly on the right track with judicial reforms. On the other hand, the Hague process will never deal with all the perpetrators of the crimes. When u consider that it is the police who investigate their own, then we miss the point here.

Is it true that chepkonga and the Doc were involved in a tag-of-war over an airport? With chepkonga calling his cop friend to come and teach the Doc a lesson when he realised the Doc was running away with the prize. Apparently Chep never intended to to have the Doc killed but munene was overzealous as are most kenyan cops and it culminated in the tragedy.

They need to provide for an option of instant death vs death row awaiting death...I cant imagine the trauma of being dragged to Kamiti even for one day and the Key "thrown into a latrine"...anyway it serves a lesson to those who think they can go around terminating others lives at will and get away scot free, they are responsible for their actions and dragging their families and that of the victims into a lot of pain and anguish...so poleni nyote but justice can be said to have been achieved to some extent at least...I cant imagine my son being murdered and the murderer getting away with it or even my son being dragged to Kamiti for a death sentence or life in jail..two very painful extremes but someones life is saved by such judgments however sad they may be to the families..
