I used to be in car hire biz 2 years ago but gave up. Guys will hire your car and you are almost certain the car will return with huge dents, scratches or just maliciously damaged. If you ever see a car being driven like a formula 1 on a road full of pot holes, then just know it's from a hire company! You can earn good money from this biz,but most of that cash ends being eaten by maintance, repairs or when the car disappears for weeks! It's a streessful jobbo,to say the least.,that's why one should have 3 cars and above to make real gains, better if loan free.
Another peculiar habit with Kenyans is when they keep asking the registration number of the car. Well, you can have a KBA which is better mechanically, drive wise, servicewise etc, than a KBD!! That's one thing Kenyans dont understand. Some KAZ are even better than KBF's!
The trick now is simple, since car hire people are aware of this peculiar habit by our Kenyan brothers, they simply buy very used, worn out cars from NGO's,Govt,Diplomats etc and have them given newer plates on registration, easy! Most Kenyans don't care about the year of manufucture, they are just obsessed with the number plate,so why not beat them in their own game?
Anything over 10k per day (24hrs) for Prado is outright rip off, indulge.
