They may open the the regster after a while before the listing a I foresee a mad rush then for the shares(just speculating).Class A shareholders were informed and given another chanc to buy more shares upto yesterday.I hav noticd they have littl regard for clas B actualy dont have voting rights.

they should also give class B shareholders a chance to ,buy more.i doubt that they will. any prospects of bonus to the class b?

Nowhere near TLC! but CIC needs to have more of the above(TLC that is).

The way the market is behaving, this share may trade at sub Kshs2.00 on listing next year considering inflation, weakening shs and forthcoming elections. What do members forecast for this stock?

sub 2 never!!I foresee an introductory price of 7....65% of the shares are not tradable so the float wil be smal. This means a very tight supply thus the high price
the deal

Serious talk...without doing research how do you compare CIC to TCL??? Time we moved away from Facebook updates to serious talk...to me CIC is the best insurance company in Kenya right now..note I didnt say bigger or large so don't compare it to Jubilee..whats going to happen is there will be a 20:1 split before listing so share likely to list at Sh8...so anybody selling at Sh70 is loosing

At an introductory price of 8 that will be over-valuing the company considering that it now has an authorised share capital of 3 billion shares

That will be valuing the company at 24 billion yet its assets are a third of that.

The person selling 2000 CIC shares at 80 should change the title to 2000 CIV shares at 4bob to reflect the share split
