Hey guys no need to slaughter my analysis left right and center .....i was of the opinion we had bottomed based on pure volume analysis...and even if we didnt pass the 3500 mark i was thinking that we might be ranging about the 3500 - 3400 area. which inturn would be bullish...
Yet again in technical analysis patterns DO fail and what you predict doesnt come true...There shld be n allowance for that...

@All..ok..since late feb there've been projections..insinuations..aspersions..hopes..guess-works..threats..pleadings etc that the market was bottoming out..
..the conservative call was.."time to accumulate"... 30 weeks later..trend still red...threads like this one make for funny reading.. and cash to accumulate died.. best thing is to wait it out.. Cash is king..
.. go to tbills..if u don't have the prerequisite 1M..settle for bonds..or tafuta n buy a plot..or learn a trade.. uwanja wa stocks umekuwa mdogo indeed.

At a Forward EPS of 0.39(even without including the bonds converted to stock and to be converted), and giving it a PE of 8, you are looking at Tranny at 3bob!
BTW,assuming even monthly income for 2010 and 2011, H1 for Tranny at 58M PAT was actually a 69.77% drop. When i did the math, i dumped the little tranny shares i had at 10 times its intrinsic value!
Anything above3 bob to me is a SELL!

I can see you are not updated on Bills. You only need 100K to qualify for T/Bills. They brought it down in 2009 so as to rope in more Wanjikus.
So go to CBK and open a CDS account, if you don't have one, and bid for the next auction due next week. 13% for a 91days T/Bill is far much better than accumulating cash in a bank account at 4%!

Inflation rates up for September to 17.3%,higher than the 91 day T-bill for this week which is up to 13.741%.
