Read advert in today's nation. Modem cost: 4499,charges vary depending on how many mbs you buy,the more the mbs the lower the cost per mb. Don't know how it compares with safcom

That does not sound bad at all! Safcom is killing us with its cost while Zain is murdering us with its sluggish speeds... Anyone used them to see the quality of their service?

What techy is Orange platform? Edge/GPRS/Wimax for sure they dont have HSPDA/3G and this is where Safcom beats them all for the high speed data access though at exhorbitant costs of Kes.3 per MB

that appears beta than the per min charge imposed earlier.give us the bundle rates to compare.

as 4 mi am home with safcon 3g coz of speeds.i pay @ appx 2.44/- per mb on a 1gb bundle.i pay 1 bob extra 4 a svc thats over 14timez faster.

just called them on 22210000...they said its on edge but has backward compatability to gprs....claim speed is between 160 and 256 kbps...
