Dead in the water. Imagine looking at your facebook posts in the living room with your kids sitting there pretending to be doing homework. BTW, when you are doing this, you have stopped Thatcher from watching any one of the four mexican soaps running.

The latest sensation for TVs is internet capable TV and they are costing an arm and a leg. I think this thing is akin to the digital set top box in that it transforms your greatwall TV etc into the web era.

Guys think watching streamed content from internet as opposed tp using it to browse. The days when justintv was free, I used to watch harambee stars matches from anywhere in the world with content beamed from such far flung areas as Tunisia and Angola.

iraqgoals.com also used to have some matches. It could prove useful with faster internet speeds at a low cost. If mama nanii is watching one of the 4 mexican soaps on the flat screen, you fish the greatwall (how aptly named?) from the garage, dust it off and connect it to the internet. As usual KBC will not show matches when Harambee is playing away from home but you will be good to go updating the rest of us on facebook accessed on your mobile phone. With faster internet, the webbox would be a serious threat to DSTV.

No, it will not, the thing connects to your TV through the normal video and audio jacks on the TV. Last time I checked greatwall didn't have any. also the webbox is not 3G enabled, it only connects to EDGE. So streaming movies or football matches will not be possible.

Now that the housemanager is forever hooked onto MY tv watching those Naija stuff, does that mean now she can go on watching while surfing? Can't imagine getting a twitter or facebook invite from the housemanager. LMAO

It also connects on the aerial jack. It works with all TVs ever made. So your 1978 TV will work very well. I have a 1984 NEC TV that is still operation and it has become my gateway to the superhighway.
