We need to understand that banks are mostly interested in ones ability to pay/pay-slips. That's why personal loans especially to employees is such a big hit! Laughing out loudly

Family Bank found an oppurtunity to grow its loan book (core business) by lending to interested parties. Same way Equity did with Safcom IPO & KCB Rwanda did with the Brailwa & Bank De Kigali IPO's. Laughing out loudly

The only risk the banks face is default when the employees are fired or the businesses of the biz pple they lent fold. THEN they'll have direct exposure to the shares/security. That's normal banking business, ain't it?

LoL @Cde clearly when analysing situations you only look on one side...SWOT Analysis...i think you should quit business and focus on politics...look man when a bank is giving out a loan there has to be some security in this case the security are the Britank shares...so in case he/she is not able to pay FB will be forced to sell the Britank shares at a loss...thats where terms like impairement and NPL's come in...LOL...

@Jamani it'll be a listing via introduction like TC & Equity. Why & what about the timing...no clue but as per the consensus here 30 bob is also too pricey for me.
