That would be a 10.5% draw down.

On the flip side we would see a low of 9.50 and a high of 10.50.

Anyway, let us see what wonder stand in tomorrow. Britak will either surprise upwards or hold the unwanted title of being the first IPO to hit the bunkers on 1st day of trading...

Look at that spread between Bid & Offer... This share is going to 8/- soon unless BRIT's current shareholders prop it up temporarily!

They should have considered postponing listing to January 2013! Wanjiku was duped here big time!

I have a feeling that by the end of the 1st week post listing, the share will trade below Ksh 7. Institutional investors, high net worth investors and foreigners avoided this IPO......wonder who will be buying on listing as the few that bought make a mad dash for the exit! It will be a massacre this one!

And to imagine at least some 2 local banks were issuing loans for people to buy into the IPO (was it 85% financing?)!!
I find that irresponsible on the part of the banks! The two banks may be left holding a substancial amount of Britak shares (if substancial numbers took up the loan offers) if the share does go below 20% of issue price (ie Below Ksh 7).

Happy hunting.

And 1 week post listing as predicted, the share does trade below Ksh 7.

Since Mr Market is in the mood of killing all britak Wanjikus if we assume a 9% drawdown for the next 5 trading days, your target is very optimistic!?

15-09-2011 5.80
16-09-2011 5.25
19-09-2011 4.75
20-09-2011 4.30
21-09-2011 3.90

Therefore by end of day on Monday 20th the share will have capitulated to 4.30. By month end, no need to guess. The capitulation damage will be a complete massacre for any speculator still surviving.

Wanjiku's last ray of hope has been crashed and this is going to affect other IPOs in the pipeline which are being lined up. The uptake will be very poor. PPT has to jerk up this britank scam to save the IPO pipeline...

This is the best lesson of an IPO ever. In one week the share has tanked 35.5%. All those caught out in this just take it as a hard lesson you had to learn and assume you lost your hard earned cash to a grand con or some silent robbery...

This will definitely be one looong bear with Wanjiku having capitulated from Jan 2011 and now a nasty IPO seen as a last ditch hope with their over-subscription. Money has no morals Sad

In this game, be first, be smarter or cheat...!
