Lost But Ringing (Vibration mode) Phone

Hi Wazuan

Anybody who have an idea of how I can trace my phone,I misplaced it on Tuesday after a meeting its ringing in silent mode-vibrating.Any system I can use to get it??

Don't you just wish you had an android phone? If you register your android on www.androidlost.com for free, you can make it wail, bark even if on silent. It can even take a picture of the 'thief' and send you the picture by mail....With Google latitude installed, you can even locate where the phone is - whether the sim card has been changed or not.

Then with this kind of applications its very possible to fix the gadget in your car dashboard(inside) and you can trace the vehicle if at all it gets stolen, as a security feature on top of the ordinary car alarm. Companies are charging between 25-40k for such.Sad Drool

True @Tebes, the hindrances I can think of at the moment are:

You can track the phone either by GPS or the service provider whose sim is on the phone. The former requires a direct line to the satellite (I think) therefore you would need to mount the idiot on the roof of the carsmile The latter would be useless if the car moves out of the range of your service provider (unless you have roaming!!)
