Britak counter goes into hiding on the NSE counters list. Now we hide a bad IPO from the public eye to avoid panic & bad PR This counter can't be saved by stalling the ATS etc. Maybe NSSF will be its knight in smolding armour... $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

This counter has traded for less than 1 month, so my question is 'who is selling?' How do you buy something and sell it at 17% loss in a week or 2? Why won't they hold for 1 or 2 years? The reason is simple. It's dumb money trying to play catch up with smart money(Real Estate)! @SufficientlyP

Didn't you get a job offer so you could change your views LoL @Mainat I can't disclose certain info.. i value the share at 5-6Bob because of the volatility of the financial assets they hold... In conclusion Britak is the stock to Buy Buy Buy when Equity clocks Sh30 and HF is at an all time high of Sh35... won't that be too late? possunt quia posse videntur

Britak is a buy when equity is at 13.00 and HFCK is at 15.00 i think i might just speculate eon this one when it finds a bottom...

Speculators are well trapped here... PPT is their only hope for an out of jail card... If I had bought this I'd take it like I got conned and move on. Luckily Mr. Market turns irrationally bullish and bearish. When the bullish irrationality returns, maybe the speculators will be able to get out flat or at a small loss. But the wait will be so long... And pray that this thing does not turn into a paka... $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

A low of 6.30. A 30% hit in a couple of days is no joke

With the full year results announcement (which the IPO prospectus had already predicted would be a pale shadow of last years), i cannot rule out a sub Ksh 3 price. Thats how overpriced this share was! Happy Hunting!

I don't think Wanjiku should sue CMA/NSE.You see, the bible says that the person who hides his talent,it will be taken and given to the one who has more, the one who didn't bury his....In Britak case Wanjiku didn't use his talent well(caveat emptor) and her cash was taken and added to Jimnah's,who used his talent and sold an over-priced security to wanjiku.....my one cent....

On the last day when Bank of Kigali IPO was closing, I was in Dyer making my purchase of BOK and there was a mama who was buying Britak worth 540k and another was selling scom to use the funds for Britak. I hope they are fine. BBI will solve it :)
