@Bishop.

You have 3 young children! I'm I missing something? why do you want a wedding so quickly then

Forget about spending any cash on a wedding, invite your parents,go to your wifes church and ask for the church to formalize your union like the way they are doing it @ Eli's church. Afterwards you can invite close family and friends for a very modest reception at your house.

You can then keep up the monthly savings and set up some good investments for your family's future.

I guess if you can't win with facts, you can always pen bile-laced,xenophobic rants to distract everyone.

There is an easy and cheaper way out @Bishop: Save the 10K a month for your children's education. It won't be long before they require case for their fees. And pls make sure they are not canidates for FPE if continue thinking the way you are now.

Then when you hear of a mass wedding, join in and you would have achieved your dream. If you local church does not call one in the next two years, worry not. Mr Moon from Korea (or is it Bonke) is coming soon

Happiness is not a right - except for children. You won't be happy if you think too much. The search of happiness is one cause os sorrow.

Bishop come on! Getting a loan,to entertain people? To make merry? Taking a loan so that people jienjoy and you are left paying through the nose? Well, its your cash,as for me? Take a loan to entertain people? Never.

Now that you are not a young man,you have tasted the sugarcane unlike some young men who are so eager to get married! I would advice you to avoid wasting cash. Organize a small wedding. Just one Sunday afternoon, after the church service, get the thing underway! You will save on :

1. Tents and Chairs - can cost you upto 70,000.
2. Venue - Can cost you upto 40,000
3. Decorations - can cost you upto 35,000
4. Transport - can cost you upto 40,000

You'll only need to pay for
1. Food - 40,000
2. Video and photography - 20,000
3. Drinks - 10,000
4. Miscellenious - 10,000

Your wedding can be as cheap as 80K. Invest for the children. The test of manhood is seen by how well you raise your children, give them education, feed them, give them basic needs and secondary needs etc.

Nobody cares how big your wedding was. Nobody even remembers! As soon as the food you gave them is out of their body, your wedding is stale news. Nobody wants to remember! You'll be a bore telling them how great your wedding was: Ofcourse they saw!

But you shall remember the LORD your God,for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers,as it is this day. Deu 8:18

Common bishop. You have already eaten the goods. Legally speaking you are already married under customary law. Just talk to your local pastor to preside over a formalisation ceremony during one of the sunday services, followed by a small pilau and soda session at your current home.
