How about we change this thread to " safcom trading at sub one bob ex-div. " Coz thats where we are headed.

I wil regard u as a prophet should your word come to pass

technical analysis never fail, my friend . BUT there are conditions to my prophecy though. a break and close below 2.55 .Simple as that....
and those seeing stocks rally our bell weather stock Safaricom closed 4.5% down on friday on HUGE volume .So you better be considering your bull theory again ...@mlenyama etc etc etc.

Safcom can only reach 1 bob in a libya scenario, just keep your un-useful theories.

*On Balance Volume* google that up btwn nothing wrong with @Qw celebrating buying Safcon at a cheaper price...thats what investing is all about...by cheaper price I mean PE not that price you see on my stocks.

This dream will be left to its owner with no signs of even a 2.80 as of now.

Call it whatt you may, safaricom and equity are rallying(maybe a relief-but something is happening to these two counters). now at 3.15. Cum div had hit a low of 2.90.

but as long as the index is falling i am touching nothing . i still maintain my equity target of 13-14 ...based on pure chart analysis ...

Impressive bids at 3 bob totalling 5.028M. Supply hardly there!
Watch this counter closely.
Waiting to see the impact of the imminent rate increase on its stock price!

I don't understand why this stock excites people. It doesn't have much upside potential. It will not reach 8 again in the near future unless driven by inflation or kes depreciation such that the future value of 8 is equivalent to kes 3 now. It's price will lie btn kes 2.50 to kes 3.90 in the short to medium run, virtually unpredictabe as it depends on the mood of the foreign investors. I only use this share as mr market barometer, nothing less, nothing more.

@hisah unless u are trading millions u can not make money out of Safcon if u factor in the commissions...there is a ceiling at 3.50.
