I agree with you @mpenzi 110%. I have used that under pass severally and it is totally messed up. You can't tell if there is an oncoming vehicle. If you move the car just enough to check, the whole front part of you car will be on the path of any oncoming vehicles even before you see them!
I have used the under pass at Kahawa Sukari and it is way safer. What they have done is that they have created some sort of 3/4 circle/oval at all the corners of the under pass - like some sort of a flower bed - which eats into part of each of the roads. Both drivers get to see the other's car before they get into each other's paths. The under pass at Museum road/Kipande road doesn't have enough space for such a thing the way it is at the moment. Short of expanding the roads to and from Parklands near the under pass and doing the same thing done at the Kahawa Sukari under pass, you can bet that place will become the worst black spot in Nairobi especially after the road is completed. Combine that with the fact that westlands is fast becoming the drinking capital of Nairobi and all the youngsters driving their parent's cars Friday and Saturday nights and you get the full picture!
By the way this is true testament that different parts of the roads are being done by different companies!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
