In the orient this kind of stock performace would have contributed to several suicide & suicide attempt...I hope no casualty will be reported on this Britak debacle like it happened with Deci.

Tranny exhibited the same bidless behaviour. Britank is following tranny's lead. Tranny is its role model... Sad

Yesterday afternoon there was some huge demand. Where did it all go?

@selah. The profit warning might hit those who hadn't read the prospectus really hard. Ministry of Medical Services might have to dispatch some of its counsellors to shareholderssmile

What abt the much hyped britak. Thank God it never bought. We know how much equity and hfck have fallen.

The moment i saw the value of Britak's investment in quoted shares coupled with the projected drop in earnings & their proposed investment plan for the funds raised signified a bad investment for anyone who had a plan of buying.

Why aren't you answering @dunkang's question?

Can Wazua admin please STOP this thread! Do you know how bitter you are making me feel! (BTW, who will buy shares just to sell at a loss on the first day of trading. This must be a plot. There is a plot here dear wazuans! KEEP YOUR STAKE. KEEP YOUR STAKE. KEEP YOUR STAKE)

Now, lets discuss something else, the shares that were not taken up!

What will happen to them next?

The owners might be laughing all the way to the bank while some speculators and those who bought the hype still think they will hold until the share goes past 9 bob...

My take I would count my loses now and move on I dont see this stock going past 9/= in the near future even though the shares were under-subscribed still they are too many they will continue depressing the stock for months to come.

Quite interesting... This thing will be bidless for a long time... Lower prices are not attracting nobody... Which banks lent out loans for this IPO... If the borrowers walk away/default, the hopeless shares will not recover the loan... A margin call scenario is shaping up...

Good people, please help me understand. This counter has traded for less than 1 month, so my question is 'who is selling?' How do you buy something and sell it at 17% loss in a week or 2? Why won't they hold for 1 or 2 years?

BBI will solve it

Ohhh poor wazuas who bought this monkey .....
Surely just looking at the stock market itself would have given you a clue as to how this ipo would perform..
But how many take time to study this market....
There was some one in this forum who said that Britank would be safaricom reincarnated .and i guess he was right...
