Safaricom Ltd announced a dividend of shs.0.20 on 19-May-2011. Books close: 8-Sep-11 • Payment: 8-Dec-11.
27-Jul-11: KenolKobil • Interim Dividend: 0.57/= • Payment: 2-Sep-11 • Books closed: 19-Aug-11.

Courtesy of mystocks.co.ke. Is Scon really closing books on 08/09/2011?? What happens to the share price thereafter?

Some guys in M-PESA have started running for safety, I wonder who will rescue them now that Wanjiku was mugged and hijacked in there.

On the other side of the divide this share can make multi-millionaires in a a few years. When it collapses, and you jump in, knowing Safaricom fundamentals are strong; and then chill in there for a while. You dont even have to wait for IPO price. You just need it back at 4 bob; and off you go. Of course that applies if you are out currently.
The laudable is more often than not rendered laughable by overclaim
