Lots of Universities in Kenya continue to name their courses creatively to give an impression of differentiation but end up confusing the would be consumers, the prospective students.
I would urge you to go beyond the name and look at the course content. The best way is to benchmark the content with BSc Computer Science at UoN. IMHO, it is more versatile and really prepares the students for a wider post school grounds. Informatics is just a subset of computer science.
