@Incognito, if you really treasure your money & want to make more of it, don't get into the stock market now. Numbers don't lie, the right time is not yet here get your cash into treasuries and make some income. Slowly build a war chest & make some cash while at it.

Personally id say when the index it at 3000 points and below and or a few months to elections that would be the time.

U failed to mention what is of interest to me...dividend yield. When I accumulate downwards my yields go up. When the market goes up I have both capital gains and income yields better than short term money mkt rates. Income is hard cash, book losses are book losses.
