200 VOLUNTEERS for a relief job that MAINLY includes -:A)80 Volunteers to work at UNdfc-North Eastern refugee camps.B)65 Volunteers to work with vulnerable children and women within the slums of Nairobi.C)75 Volunteers to work at UNdfc-S.Sudan refugee camps at Juba.Those interested in the S.Sudan Juba job must posses a valid PASSPORT.
NB;This vacancy is also open to those who currently worked for UNdfc-Somali,BUT with equal chances as fresh applicants.
Requirements 1.Kenyan citizens with K.C.S.E and ABOVE.
2.Willingness to teach,asses and mentor young and vulnerable children.
3.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English 4.Must have good numerical and analytical skills for children.
5.Be of impeccable integrity and honesty.
6.Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills.
7.Time management skills and attention to detail

IMPORTANT PLEASE
NOTE-Those without PASSPORTS should and are encouraged to apply ONLY for the Nairobi & North Eastern jobs.
NOTE-Employment shall be on a 3year contract initially with possibility of conversion to permanent and pensionable terms subject to organizational needs,availability of funds,and satisfactory performance.
NOTE-If successful, you'll be part of a dynamic and passionate team based in Nairobi, North Eastern Kenya and Juba, S.Sudan for 3 year working 6 days a week,8 hours a day.
NOTE-As a relief volunteer job,you are ONLY accommodated and protected as single person within the UNdfc centre.ONLY FOR N.EASTERN AND S.SUDAN APPLICANTS.
NOTE-As UNdfc-S.Sudan volunteer,you'll need a special permit to travel anywhere in Sudan other than UNdfc-Sudan centre and Juba.
NOTE-S.Sudan being a region with acute housing problem,you might be required from time to time to be housed in air conditioned tents if need be.
NOTE-UNdfc-S.Sudan will pay you a salary of USD 735 or Kshs 58,800/= for your volunteer work in Juba every month excluding allowances while UNdfc-Kenya will pay those working in North Eastern USD 532 or Kshs 32,600/= every month and Kshs 715/= daily allowance six days aweek.UNdfc-Kenya will pay those working within Nairobi slums a salary of Kshs 26,450/= with a daily allowance of Kshs 478/= six days a
week.
NOTE-As a relief volunteer you might be requested to work for more than the stated 8 hours or at odd hours at NO EXTRA pay other than the above stated Salary. .
NOTE-Transport to Juba S.Sudan and North Eastern Kenya will be provided from Nairobi on 17th SEPTEBER 2011 at 2PM.
