careful there...only trees we discuss on wazua are eucalyptus and pine trees. No on one has ever been usered for discussing eucalyptus. Something very wrong with the picture of a man staring at the other tree (especially if its not his).

I am all for the little child getting goodies from Mutoko. He or she will definitely be better off with Mutoko than where he or she is now, or before.

Anyone who can do equal or better than Mutoko can also chip in.

As somone has pointed out CM is free to adopt because the kid will probably be better of with her but then again i hope she's doing it for the right reasons.

Because everybody is doing it (children should not be a fad)

Your biological clock is ticking (not good motivation for adoption)

You want someone who'll love you back

You want some company (adopt a dog!)

Because you feel sorry for the child or want to rescue them (feeling any sense of indebtedness is not fair to a child who did not ask to be in the position they are)

You could really use another person to help out around the house (hire a housekeeper!)

A playmate for your other children (baby-sit or do more play-dates)

Because children from ______ are so cute (may be cute, but cute is not a good reason to adopt)

I need someone to pass on the family name (poor reason to adopt)

Tired of watching other women have babies (not a good reason to adopt; children who are adopted often have very unique special needs that require a lot of devotion)

You want someone to leave an inheritance to (donate to a worthy charitable organization)

You think you'll gain respect and status of sainthood (this is a purely selfish motive; likely you'll feel more like a servant than anything high and mighty)

I need a reason to get up in the morning (program your coffee maker; with children there are likely to be days when you don't feel like getting up in the morning)

To make me feel complete (you really ought to feel complete before you adopt)

Good for her to adopt. I hope the kid will be better off too. However, we need to realise that contrary to popular opinion, life is long. The things you do and say have a way of coming back to haunt you. The reason there is such varied reaction here is not because she adapted the kid. That is by all means noble. But rather a feedback from society on how people view her based on what she lets out of her mouth many a morning.

I hope she ups her game now that she is a mother and not a girl anymore.

We posted pictures of trees. Real trees. Not the wazua kind of trees. Ask @magigi and the rest.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
