I was recently in Kenya for my summer vacation and noticed that every FM station I listened to, sex was/is a hot topic, especially mpango wa Kando. Kenya apart from being so dusty is highly sexual. Even though many people dont want to talk about it, mpango wa kando is very much the norm. I have a business idea which can make millions out of mpango wa kando, but every one I have asked to join me have given me a cold shoulder since this is a no no subject. I need a partner on the ground.

Are there any risk takers out there willing to venture into an investment in "mpango wa kando" phenomena? Leave me a response and your contacts.

Be more open, otherwise you will draw a lot of skepticism.

There are people or funds who only invest in socially responsible ventures. They don't enven invest in tobacco or beer companies. Mpango-wa-Kando as it sounds may fall in this category unless you expound on your idea.

Mpango wa kando doesn't help Kenya, it hurts it. It's not a phenomenon, it's a disease. It's bad enough that socially irresponsible broadcasters are using it as sensationalism; the CCK should be revoking broadcast licenses for indecency; they could auction them off, and us adult, responsible investors here on Wazua could purchase them and put MUSIC back on the air.

Investment in debauchery and vice is no more welcome here than would be pimping and pandering, or pornography.

Thanks for visiting. Goodbye.

Jason hill and all those passing judgement- typical Kenyan style- chill out. Here is an invetsment idea to do good. We are not talking about lodging and clande joints- which if you ask me you can still have handsome returns. I am talking a smart investment idea that will be approved by any pastor.

The wrong way to go about it is to pass laws or run the FM presentors out of business. Who are we fooling, you can bury your head in the sand but when you jet into Nai it hits you like vumbi ya mombasa road. My idea is legit and beyond the curve. This is an opportunity to make mbesha- period.

LOL, is that supposed to add credibility even if it is so?

Maybe I wouldn't pass judgment if you were more open about what it is that you are trying to do... maybe. You have to admit, you came across rather shady saying that you want to make money from vice, but won't say how... and, you are a newcomer to this forum.

Being first-to-market won't save you anyway; if someone is going to take your idea and one-up you, they will do it anyway, by out-financing you.

Best,

Hill

I wont take the bait on the investment idea. I find your references to 'dusty Kenya' a little amusing seeing as it were that we all eventually turn to dust. If at all you wanted a business idea that dust presents an opportunity. Any way good luck with your mpango wa kando biz and I hope that being away from 'home' will help you start appreciating the riches that God has bestowed on this country.
