Give him 10 years, he'll be 10 times better than where he was. Once you know the secret to success only God can take it away.

BBI will solve it

Quite a sad but inspiring story Grand Kimwa was such a great place. As an investor in order to make it you must be prepared to lose it all. The guy has been bankrupt twice before the incident

I admire this Mzee and am challenged by his determination. Those who knew Grand Kimwa hotel can visualise how much loss this guy got. God can still take him back to Grace though age is catching up with him. Those supporting ICC suspects, please read this story and try to fit in his shoes and many others who have similar stories to tell.

In there is a big lesson for us.. He has a trace of bitterness but he is still moving on.. How we need that attitude!
Keep going.
I love his wife's sweet/shy smile smile
....above all, to stand.

Were there other properties near his? Were they totched also or it was about one tribe targeting specific business? Just wondering.

Did Ruto and co also visit Kisumu for raids? This ICC targeting of Ruto should stop.

Nobody seems to remember that early last decade,(Can't recall the exact year),he came up with one of the biggest enertainment joint after Grand Kimwa,in Nyamasaria........somehow,it was torched by arsonist days before it could open doors. It was one majestic place......BTW,the writer did not inquire where the name Kimwa came from. It's a short name for Kisumu-Mwanza.Miriti used ships in the lake to sell merchandise across the lake and as far as Rwanda and Burundi.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
