40% under subscription. this shows you how good wazuans are when it comes to numbers.

This IPO will be fully subscribed +-10% but the tricky bit will be when it resumes trading.
With such environment for sure it will not pull a kengen as most villagers are convinced it may do.
I will be hoping it trades at 6bob day three for me to lock my cash in there.
It may sound weird, but that is the general mood/trend in the market.

Clearly wazuans can be equally as bad with the same numbers.

Benson Wairegi: "I'm very impressed about the numbers coming in about our IPO"

Soon we'll know if he's telling us the truth...

Now that the truth has been revealed... i.e, the IPO was undersubscribed due to Foreign Investors & QIIs not fully taking up their allotted portions... Could Ben Wairegi, then, have meant that he was impressed with the way "the Wanjikus" were buying into the "hype"??? Hmmm... food for thought.

Going frwd what does this portend???

In view of the under-subscription & profit warning, again I ask, who will you sell to?

Wow! Almost nil interest from the Mboys both local and foreigners. I was thinking that the NSE rebound would give this IPO a boost on listing, but nop. Wanjikus will be left high and dry. The history books will gauge this as the 1st IPO to be listed and tanked!

Plus we're in a bear market!!! Wanjikus have indeed primed themselves and all we await for is the slaughtering to begin... when the stock comes to the secondary market. Woi, woi, woi...

@mlennyma.
i would like to categorically state that i was basing on the numbers that were fed to us by the press and if we passed the 50% mark then, it means that the numbers we were given were pumped up.

Britak to review projects after undersubscripion www.businessdailyafrica....06/-/pgdo40/-/index.html
With only 60p.c raised plus an anticipated profit warning, will 9 bob be considered too high a premium, as was Transcentury's 50bob? But hey, CFCIH still defied odds to hit the heady hights of 16, right?

CFCI was locked in to a few shareholders & many of them were not Wanjikus. Thus tight volume & very few Wanjikus makes the share price easier to manipulate smile

Tranny's volume as well as britak will not have the legs to float with the current mood. Besides wanjikus are overcrowded in this IPO. Who will be the buyer when they sell? But since some mboyz own this stock I wont be shocked if it is nudged up to try & hype the demand. Also it being listed on a Friday is quite interesting a message from the casino owners...
