If you travel to other first world countries, you will still find stalls selling second hand clothes, just like second hand cars. There is nothing wrong with mutumba kama inaweza kustiri matako, shida labda iwe kununua chupi ambayo tayari imevaliwa. And besides, these are usually fumigated to aoid entry of bugs into the country. Even airlines buy used aeroplanes....

Wearing mutumba is a choice for many and for others the only option....

I watched a documentary on the same on aljazeera which actually followed red cross and other renowned charitable ORGs.THe truth of the matter is the clothes donated is sold to generate money that can buy food and other essential items that is needed for majority of aid relief.Have you ever seen red cross or save a child donate second hand clothes to victims in dire need of food and shelter.
