@Pablo, thanks. I got the tiles from T&C during the sale period for my 8 units (floor and wall) all were made in China, lakini they insisted its first quality, my fundi was amazed and delighted at the quality. Wash basins and sinks were equally from China pia first quality + taps+ accessories etc. I bet we've been brainwashed into believing that all things Chinese are poor quality.

I was sourced quotations from various fundis for fixing/laying the tiles and I need to make the assessment right.

Thanks. Will talk to the old man who helped me get the tree from which I got the timber for roofing.

Thanks for the idea, am sure to save upwards of 200-300k.

Luttz,

Looking for the tree alternative as well. Could you send me the old man's number to swanky2010n@yahoo.com.

.

@Pablo, I am not using shower mixers since the units since I don't intend to install water heaters but will install instant water heaters over the shower head. Taps I got for Ksh. 1100 each Tapis brand.
@African coloner, roughly 11-12 million. Location Kitengela town.

@GGK, you have to brace yourself. This is a block of flats/apartments for rent looking forward to reaping cash flows of around 120,000 - 180,000 per month.

I am planning to construct a two bedroom house using corrugated iron sheets. I intend to have a concrete floor. Any idea what the rough cost of this project will be. Thanks

@Pao, dimensions?, iron sheets for roof or walls? Concrete floor? rephrase your question more precisely and clearly tafadhali.
