Wisdom to detect when share prices hit rock bottom.
When interest on bonds keep going up, you know the bear run is on high street. When interest on bonds start leveling, the bear has met the bull and they have hit rock bottom. When the interest rates on bonds start coming down, the bull has overpowered the bear and you better be riding the bull.

Okay just received an email and I wonder whether farmers will drive Ferraris?

How idiosyncratic the performance of agriculturals in an Agricultural haven like Kenya, one would think Israel and its Negev desert is in the garden of Eden !!##?

Results:
Tea production 50% lower than same period last year, due to unfavourable rainfall
Tea prices improved 6% but offset by currency fluctuations

Turnover KShs 36.3m (51% down)
Gross Margin 21% (24%p down)
EPS 5.37 (72% down)

The directors do not recommend the payment of an interim dividend.

What a poor show from Limuru Tea, management attributes the drop in profits to a 50% drop in tea production; tea production came in around 237 tonnes in the 1H of 2011.

EPS dropped by 72% despite a 6% improvement in tea prices aided by the weak shilling in the 1H of 2011, at a price of Sh315 per share the stock trades on a forward PE of 29 which is quiet expensive.

Tea prices are high (almost the highest they have been in years)
The KES is weakening vs US$ (Tea auctions in US$)
The land in Limuru is very valuable
