How can I use Ksh 3,000 (144 KWH) in one week? This is sheer robbery. I don't have a bakery in my house! All I have is a fridge, TV and the lighting. Ahh no no no no. Somebody is minting money on behalf of somebody else. Something needs to be done...As as if that is not enough, I am reading that charges will go up again next week... No No no no. Something needs to be done... ABK

@motomoto, i understand u. For the last 2 months, my bill is another. Av had to pray God for a miracle. By the way, am told kuna gadget inauzwa bangkok (not sure spelling). The item helps save upto 50% power usage. U plug it kwa socket the way u do chargers, etc. 3.5k ksh. Sijaipata bt nimetumana.

@moto is yours the prepaid meter? Something must be wrong follow up with them so that your meters checked out. I feel you.

I feel you. I understand these radios with amplifiers also consume a lot of power. Check that ur househelp is not blasting the radio all day

Hata mimi yangu ni 2,929 this month.. And unlike Motomoto i rarely listen to TV & Radio.. Just the Kawaida electricals.
My neighbours was 8k! But us guys do not have the prepaid meters yet. Its still that old one of disconnecting..

I've just a bought a Kg of sugar at 280....Throw in the ever rising prices of basic commodites and you realise we are in for very rough times.Something will surely have to give in/way.BTW,what happened to the parliamentary committee on rising cost of living?

Did you follow up with KPLC? Some of the prepaid meters are faulty hence the need to have yours checked.
