Cfc stanbic bank pretax up 39%,EPS up 13% to 2.82,of course in our current market none of that counts.

cnn, kwani who regulates these guys?
Their results seem prepared differently than the other banks thus very difficult for comparison purposes...

Check today's DN, p42; you will see the results of CFC Stanbic BANK Ltd - these are in line with CBK regulations and are similar to other banks. This company is NOT listed on the NSE!!!!!

ON P43, there are results of CFC Stanbic HOLDINGDS Ltd. This is the listed company and it owns 100% of CFC Stanbic BANK Ltd as well as CFC Stanbic FINANCIAL SERVICES Ltd.

The accounts of CFCSH do NOT have to follow CBK regulations while those of CFCSB do.
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.
