Many people calling me do not seem to understand why the Stock Market is on a free fall. People have plenty of the cash but are not willing to spend it in liquid investments. Thus, the private sector is not willing to give governments credit as the people no longer have faith in their governments. So, when the US government floats bonds, no one is willing to buy them. This makes the government have trouble repaying maturing debts.
