Hi wazuans. I intend to put up a small guesthouse in one of the small upcoming towns. It will comprise 10 units on a 40x100 plot. The town has no sewer line and i dont want to think of latrines. I need to have a septic tank. Am looking for ideas on what to do. i.e size?do i construct it myself from concrete?where can i get standard ones for that capacity?How long does it take to fill up?How expensive are exhauster services? Also in the spirit of going green i'd like to install solar water heaters for some rooms(i'll sell these as premium rooms while for the rest my guests will kaa ngumu with a cold shower). Where do i get good panels at good price(i kno of chloride and kenitl).Regarding rain harvesting any suggestion of tanks?underground?concrete?roto? which is practical and size?

@mmarto,regarding the hot water system,there are these guys who deal with chardust its some charcoal balls made from charcoal dust and they make water heater tanks that use these chardust i think they are based in Karen,check the site maybe could help..good luck. chardust ltd.
