@VVS and how about at Subsidiary level where there is no pricing formula. And what do we have in those bloody tanks/storage facilities!!

Actually, pricing is 'fixed' in Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia & Tanzania [as I understand it] so the formulas applied in these countries would take care of the matter!

The 'cheap' stuff will take 2 weeks to get into Kenya... If KK has expensive stuff, it will sell it off by the 14th at the CURRENT price!!! I was at KK [using a K-Card] on Tuesday. A line of cars. I am sure KK will sell out the pricey stocks every Tues, Friday & Sunday!

Now... the KES has dropped to 93 so KK (or other OMCs) can't drop prices much more even with lower international oil prices.

Key leading indicators of a (mini)-rally are as follows:
* Increased foreign demand
* Up-movement in foreign favourites and highly liquid counters (Saf, EABL, BAT, Kengen, KPLC etc)
* Shilling Forex gains
* Stock index gains in other emerging markets

My 2 cents

Failing the forex and emerging markets.

These are surely the South Trade Winds, and damn, they have storm clouds too!
