Zim's land reform has over 60K black producing more tobacco than what 4,000 white farmers did. If that isn't success, then I have no further comments.

The Namibian Exchange is so illiquid coz the scrip is tightly held by the whites that U had to come all this way to invest in Kenya and u r most welcome.

Hehehe maan this is becoming fun...what happened to the Zim Dollar? It was replaced by USD isnt it? That shows the old crook is a loser...if the Shilling becomes replaced by the USD is that success? Soon those companies you are talking about will be forced to cede 51% of their shares to the old crooks supporters...tell me where is hard work...entrepneurship...capitalism in that...apart from day light stealing...Zimbabweans are cowards for not throwing out the old crook...i salute the Egyptians...first it was Kenol Kobil being forced to partner with the old crooks supporters now its Trustco...its shame really to support such ideologies...

Namibians should work hard to own or buy those shares...not expecting radical policies like the old crook Mugabe to aid them...Namibia has been independent for 21 years...so if Namibians do not own Namibia Breweries shares that is not a white mans problem...after all black Namibians have been advantaged threw laws such as affirmative action...what more do they need..

So what's wrong with Zimbos enjoying empowerment laws too? Through pension funds, insurance pools, empowerment SPVs.

And what's wrong with Zim abandoning its ccy for a more stable one in order to forestall a macro economic demise. Isn't that a wise move?

And whoever said those 51% stakes are free is a liar and has yet to read the Act. Probably read hog-wash from the media.

For selfish reasons, me as an investor in that country would prefer as many empowered locals with lots of money buying products & services hence driving the economy than a few guys hoarding money.

Nabwire wrote:Read my lips...rates will not go up in the US!!! At this rate, I should just place a $1,000 bet, go to www.bloomberg.com click markets, scroll down to key rates and check the Fed interest rates, they are on a downward trend. Unless you are talking about Libor. Cant believe we are having this convo, regardless of who the Fed chairman is, rates cant go up in a recession/depression, if they did the US would become worse than Zim. About QE, most people have the wrong impression that Wallstreet was bailed out or given free money. NO, Wallstreet firms were loaned money with interest, and most were basically managed by the government in terms of what they can or cant do, until they paid back their loans. Thats why majority of the firms paid up those loans chap chap to avoid Government scrutiny. The Federal gov made a profit off of QE, but ask the average American and they think Wallstreet was bailed out for free. Republicans perfected this lie. About rising up, that just sucks!!! I dont plan on rising up anytime soon since I rarely post, dont know who actually thinks its a good idea to dictate how much s'one can say according to rank. Just saying!!At this rate, I will not post again, im not used to working kienyeji like this, its a very bad idea to limit what pple can say coz of rank, who does that?? Ati Elder, I wanna be young forever. By the way keep bashing the US, utashangaa, I am very bullish on the US. After everything clears, China will be left holding debt on paper, watch this space. With that ciao, I'm not waiting another 50 mins to post!!

Is @cde saying that the WHITE MAN's currenncy is more stable than the great mugabe's toilet paper? NO, NO, NO... It cannot be true. Someone MUST have hijacked @cde's account on wazua! Let @wazua investigate this matter! "forestall a macro economic demise" - How can that be??? The great mugabe is all-knowing. After all only he had the foresight to buy a US$5mn house in Hong Kong for his daughter. He knew where his money is safe. Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett
