There was a point during the first half that it could have gone our way....a point when Nigeria were against the wall and fighting....a moment I allowed myself to imagine 3-1 for Kenya....but the finishing, the finishing....the defence was good once it woke up in minute 5....the offence woke a bit later...

The problem with equality is that we desire that it be with those that have more than us rather that those that have less

That scoreline is flattering. The Nigerian crowd told all..all the same we left lagos with our heads held high.Loosing possession in the midfield (Mambo again wsup) and inadequate cover on the counter attack to kill the game cost us. Oliech & Mariga were opening up that Nigerian defense almost at will. The Tunisians seeing that game should not be too worried... I'm optimistic of a good result when the much fancied Nigerians come calling in Nairobi. The Mozambicans drew with Nigeria at home,we can beat them. Tunisa hit 2 past Mozambique yesterday,we can pull a draw in Tunis. The Nations cup is within reach.

There is no hope... If this is the team (Nigeria) we are sending to SA for the World Cup,then there is no hope for Africa... Hey was right about the Nigerians - 11 superstars,no team. Unfortunately,Harambee stars should not have been concentrating on their opponents' weaknesses but rather their own... HS is full of ball watchers rather than ball players... Wanaangalia mpira ikipita tu... NO EFFORT AT ALL... Halafu Naijarians, totally Mediocre... Its not that Kenyans played well, its that the Naijarians were Aswatch.... Yenyewe Mukiha,we should fund teams in sports where we actually have stand some hint of a chance (Boxing,Taekwondo,Rugby,Athletics,Shooting,Swimming etc).

I didnt feel embarrassed with the stars but i got visibly irritated with those foolish partisan Nigerian football commentators eti

'look at hurambee stors, they are in big troble Uche is opening their defence like red sea, hurambee stors are good long distonce runners that is why they are ronning around the pitch...Uche..Uche...ohhh oga where is de basket for da goals now..

me thinks mariga held on to the ball too much. when naijarians were on the attack and kenya intercepted the ball, mariga would receive the pass, but instead of sending a pass to oboya opening up on the left,he would dribble around then fouled. then the resultant free kick would be good for a rugby match...having a sh12m VX and playing for parma doesnt mean all the assists have to come from him. thats why we were lacking urgency with the ball...
