What is ipo48? It is an annual tech even held in Kenya, where a group of IT guys come together and try to bring their ideas into fruition within 48 hours. After the 48 hours are up, the winning company is chosen, and they go home with a significant investment in their business.
Last year's winner was M-Farm, an application that helps farmers get their produce to market more efficiently. They went home with a 1 million shilling investment.
