And now RVR is having a 15b loan to upgrade the system. 7.5billion addition from the current shareholders including citadel who are on a 25 years ownership deal.
African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'

I hope it will be a reality as they have been planning for years.
Kenya deserves it. Hope they will link up with Kampala ?
The wazua spirit as members is to educate and inform and learn from others within the limit of what we know in any chosen area irrespective of our differences in tribes, nationalities, etc. .

This will work out, as i am speaking there is a SUB-station being put up at embakasi as an interchange for the train from JKIA headed to the CBD.

@Sober: The sub-station has been stalled for the past two months. Hope this is the jab it needed to continue.

I dont think you can call it that(a plus) at the moment unless the Gov guaranteed the loan.

The reason being TCL,centum and other shareholders have pumped several billions to date and most of the cash has either been written off or turned into equity.Take for instance Centum it issued a loan of several million then they were forced to turn the loan into equity which they sold at a loss eventually.

B4 RVR turns around it will need such a huge investment that is akin to setting up A new railway infrastructure.

Recent results showed I think 60M in EBITDA,Net earning would have been several millions in the Red due to its High Interest, depreciation and amortization costs.
