Hahaha! Why am I not surprised? I always thought IE is only good for accessing your Outlook mail account if you have one. Besides that it's really a drab browser. I suppose if you don't know enough to see that then it's probably true that your IQ is barely in the three-digit range, if at all! Learn first to treat your time as you would your money, then treat your money as you do your time.

A recent study links intelligence test results with browser usage -- and the results don't look good for users of Microsoft's Internet Explorer, especially its older versions. The results are fascinating. Users of Internet Explorer 6 have an average IQ score barely over 80; Firefox and Chrome users fare much better, with average IQ scores of around 110, while Opera and Camino users have an average IQ score over 120. The study concludes that "individuals on the lower side of the IQ scale tend to resist a change/upgrade of their browsers." It's only logical that users with a higher IQ are more likely to experiment, choose a different software version or variant 80% of Africans were found to be using IE7 and lower. Wisdom to detect when share prices hit rock bottom. When interest on bonds keep going up, you know the bear run is on high street. When interest on bonds start leveling, the bear has met the bull and they have hit rock bottom. When the interest rates on bonds start coming down, the bull has overpowered the bear and you better be riding the bull.

On the other hand, older browsers are so user-unfriendly that you need to have an IQ score several points north of a genius in order to use them. So Mozilla, Chrome, Opera, Camino, Ocampo etc users are certifiable vegetables. He who can express in words the ardour of his love, has but little love to express. - Petrach, Son. Next he will be asking "How do I know if I am using IE or Mozilla?" Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

The study id very true. I often find it funny that some people stick to the ancient IE. I use IE to download mortzilla firefore and google chrome only to end uo using opera. African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'

I don't think we are saying that people with high IQs embrace ALL change. We are just saying they are not afraid of experimenting. When they reject a product, they do so because they have tested it out and found it to be inferior. They collect evidence and make decisions based on it. It's hard to argue against IE's backwardness in terms of user-friendliness, add-on support, speed... etc. So yeah, it's probably true that IE users are not the smartest of internet users. The same goes for people who avoid or badmouth alternative products (or ideas) purely because they have never used them. I use opera mini, opera web and Firefox. Does that mean I'm super genius? Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity. ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca

This research is just pure bull crap!, did they do a rider on product availability! when you say 80% of the IE users were africans, the argument moves from more IQ to more mellanine read black castigation. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Well said@ seppuku. @murenj.. don't switch from IE (in a bid to up your 'IQ') just yet... you may find you're already using IE with Chrome frame... ... hehehe & that puts you straight into the 'above average IQs'
