@sihingwa, just take a sample on the roads. Most wingroads with reg KBH look beaten down. An NZE reg KAY/KAZ notonly looks sturdy but is in excellent condition. Talk to a few car hire/taxis and they will tell you not to go there.

Actually your observations are right, but intepretations are off mark.

Cost of an imported wingroad is approx 550 to 600K, that of an NZE about 850K...the former will attract a 'lower' class of owner, the latter will be for the 'haves'. So a wingroad owner will most likely take less care (regular service, painting, polishing..) of his car than an NZE owner because (s)he has less income.

Observe again what is the proportion of pimped (nice alloys etc) wingroads to premios, allions ... You will understand what am getting at.

sihingwa i dont think your observation is correct that Wingroads are for the "lower class". Most taxi operators would fall in this category but they rather go for NZE.

How low class (income-wise) is a taxi owner of the NZE type, leave alone the ones who start with KSH 150K nissan/toyotas ?
