Does this shortage in Uganda affect Kenya ? Will it translate to price appreciation of NSE lack lustre performing Mumias ?

Not much.

1) Drought means less cane (& quality) to mill
2) Kenya has not faced significant sugar imports for a while so Mumias will not sell more. They already sell all they produce
3) Lower income from the Power Generator

I see. I am not a mumias fan though neither do I plan to buy into it in future.
I thought it will be of interest to speculators for further assessment of Mumias for speculative reasons.

I am waiting to buy Mumias at 5/- again. I bought it a few years ago at the same price and managed to sell it at 11.7/-. I cant wait to buy it at that price again.

Please watch out dear @Funky at times recursive trading on the same stock sometimes make you lose all the gains you made earlier.

I was a victim of that many years back when I was a speculator.

@young - Speculation? Like you, I do not speculate. Burnt badly. Prefer to make my money the old fashioned way. Hard work by researching the best I can!
